Support Our Troops

Our surgical assistant, Sylvia, is a member of Military Moms and Wives of Brazoria County. This is an organization that supports the moral and spiritual health of our American Heroes in the armed forces, in combat zones around the world. Letters and care packages that are hand packed with love, and shipped by caring volunteers who support all branches of service, are sent to our soldiers. Dr. Crofcheck and the team help support our troops by donating necessary items that go into the care packages.

Donation location in Angleton, Texas. Thanks to all that volunteer!

Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast Cancer Awareness

Dr. Crofcheck and her team support Tammy Hoff, owner of “Bosom Bakery”, in her efforts to raise awareness for breast cancer. After surviving Stage 3 breast cancer in 2009, Tammy started selling her home-made bread loafs, using her Grandma’s special recipes, for her cancer walk fundraiser. Tammy donates $1.50 from every loaf sold and is now fundraising year round.

Local and Travel Service Work

Houston Periodontist - Community Service

Dr. Crofcheck and her children have traveled to foreign countries as missionaries, building
shelters and providing dental care.

Dr. Crofcheck also supports many local organizations such as: Special Spaces (an organization dedicated to creating and decorating
special bedrooms for terminally ill children), the Assistance League of Clear Lake, The
Lunar Rendezvous foundation, Bay Area Panhellenic
Association, St. Clare Catholic Church and Lutheran South Academy.
She and her husband have also participated in fund raising activities for the Multiple
Sclerosis Society, American Cancer and The Girl Scouts of America foundation.

Dr. Crofcheck recently partnered with the Oral Cancer Foundation to help raise
awareness in our community. Oral cancer is not a rare disease and is on the rise.
According to statistics from the Oral Cancer Foundation, one person dies every hour
of every day in the United States from this silent killer. Oral cancer screenings are a
part of Dr. Crofcheck’s routine evaluation for all of her patients and during Oral Cancer
Awareness month in April, she hosts free screenings on select days for the community.

2014 Texas Mission of Mercy

Texas Mission of Mercy (TMOM)

The Texas Dental Association (TDA) Smiles Foundation hold Texas Missions of Mercy (TMOM) several times a year at different locations. The two day event in February resulted in nearly 1,400 children and adults receiving free dental care at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UT Health) School of Dentistry.
